Title: Sr Supply Chain Planning Analyst
Location: Dallas, TX (3 days a week in office)
The Sr. Supply Chain Planning Analyst manages supply processes as per Galderma best practice by working in partnership with customers as well as internally with Galderma factories, external suppliers, global supply chain, marketing, sales, and operations teams to improve the accuracy and reliability of the forecast. This role will ensure that supply is in the right location at the right time at optimal inventory levels and freshness to satisfy our customer demand requirements on time and in full. This position is responsible for balancing supply with demand to improve delivery performance while maintaining optimal stock cover end to end.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with factory and external supplier organization counterparts to align on the optimal Supply Plan by using appropriate customer level sales and inventory information, promotional data, distribution information and assumptions.
- Plays a key role in management of inventory levels, ensuring that stock is appropriate to achieve both stock cover and inventory value targets without disruption to customer needs. Takes action with factories and external suppliers to adjust plans as needed to ensure goals are met. Analyzes stock cover levels and adjusts as appropriate to ensure optimal levels of supply, with an always enough, never too much mindset. Collaborates with inventory accounting on inbound supply and inventory reconciliation
- Analyzes actual performance versus forecast to actively identify exceptional or unforecasted activities. Drives fast, appropriate actions to minimize the impact of deviations from plans. Communicates these actions to stakeholders
- Anticipates and reports future supply constraints and works in partnership with the factory and external supplier organizations to mitigate risk
- Coordinates projects, including new product launches and life cycle changes across many levels of the organization including US Marketing, Analytics, Sales, Trade, Finance, I.T., Factories, and Global Supply Chain
- Utilizes all Planning system functionality in an effective manner to enable an exception-based management approach and implement tools to deliver tangible benefits (e.g. time savings, increased efficiencies). •Improves accuracy and drives out systematic forecast bias through detailed analyses of past performance. Consistently tracks errors using reason codes and maintains an efficient learning log.
- Monitors essential KPIs, such as stock coverage, inventory value, customer order fulfillment, bad goods, forecast accuracy and bias, vendor and customer performance, and stock in trade. Develops and executes corrective actions when outside of established boundaries.
- Participates and provides content for the S&OP process as defined.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field from a four-year college/university required.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in sales and operations planning, demand planning, supply planning, plant operations, logistics, and/or inventory management required.

- Strong understanding of how planning process drives operations.
