ZF’s Commercial Vehicle System Division, the largest global vehicle technology provider for commercial vehicles, build Digital Services enabling our customers to increase the efficiency, sustainability, and safety of their operations while meeting the regulatory and visibility standards of their markets.  The solutions are based on a portfolio of IoT devices, that access rich and unique proprietary vehicle data, which communicate with a modern cloud based IoT, data management, and end-user software platform.

To strengthen and expand the Dublin team, we are looking for a:

 

Senior Full Stack Engineer REACT + C#/.NET (m/f/d)
As a Senior Full stack Engineer you are part of a small highly skilled, innovative and motivated development team that build the Core data ingestion, Distributed and Event Driven microservices on the ZF next generation IOT Platform (SCALAR), which are consumed by all the other services and development teams. Our teams are responsible for the scope & technical requirements, module architecture, data design, quality & test strategies, serviceability alerts & metrics and security & compliance for each microservice under our domain of expertise. We specialize in processing real-time, high volume, mission critical data, researching and utilizing the best technology stack for the problem we are solving. Our modules utilize the latest LTS .Net version together with the AWS cutting edge technologies including Lambda functions, SQS, SNS, Event Bridge, Kinesis Data Stream & Firehose, S3 and DynamoDB. We do not maintain Legacy code.

Primary Responsibilities
•    Working with the Product team to build products from proof of concept to production for ZF’s product catalogue.
•    Continuous improvement in developing, maintaining & enhancing server-side applications.
•    Design and develop robust, high quality sustainable code.
•    Engage with Software Development methodologies such as Scrum/ Kanban to collaborate, deliver and report during the sprint.
•    Analyzing and implementing best coding practices into the project code base.
•    Coordinating the efforts and cooperating with other developers, designers. System and business analysts.
•    Document every part of the development process for further enhancements and maintenance.

Skills & Experience
•    A Computer Science degree or equivalent.
•    8+ Years of software development working in an agile environment.
•    Follow Agile development methodologies & lean principles to create world-class software.
•    You must have a passion for technology with an understanding of cloud hosting technologies.
•    Require a strong analytical mindset.
•    Excellent communication skills (in English).

Essential Experience
•    Knowledge of Cloud architecture including containers or serverless.
•    Expert knowledge in C#, and .Net Core.
•    Experience with REST APIs and Microservices.
•    Strong knowledge with SQL & noSQL Databases.
•    Previous experience working with GIT.
•    Understand the business goals and translate those into the appropriate technical solution.
•    Strong knowledge of OOA, OOD principles and multi-threading.
•    Experience with common design patterns, messaging patterns, and distributed systems.
•    Experience with Test-driven development  , continuous integration, deployment and monitoring frameworks
•    Expertise in developing, scaling and deploying large scale systems with advanced
      understanding of System Performance and tuning.
•    Comfortable with leading the code reviews for the agile  team, promoting best practices.
•    Professional experience of JavaScript Frameworks React.js 
•    React hook based functional development experience 
•    Advanced HTML and CSS experience (2.5 years professionally)
•    Experience with ES6 / Typescript.
•    Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
