<p>Frontnow is one of Europe’s fastest-growing SaaS startups — recently ranked <strong>#8 in the 2025 Sifted 100: DACH &amp; CEE</strong>.<br/>Based in Berlin, we’re transforming the e-commerce landscape with AI-powered products that help retailers convert, advise, and scale more effectively.</p> <p>Our core products, <em>Adviseor</em> and <em>Enhance,</em> are redefining customer engagement and product data quality for B2B2C retailers.</p> <p>To support our next growth phase, we’re hiring a <strong>Senior Product Designer (m/f/d)</strong> to take ownership of the end-to-end product experience and evolve our visual brand across every customer touchpoint.</p> <h2 id="tasks">Tasks</h2> <ul> <li>Take ownership of the end-to-end product design process for <em>Advisor</em> and <em>Enhance</em>.</li> <li>Create and maintain scalable design systems and beautiful, user-centered interfaces.</li> <li>Lead discovery workshops, usability tests, and iterate on designs based on real feedback.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to align design, technical feasibility, and business impact.</li> <li>Act as the <strong>Brand Owner</strong>: define and evolve Frontnow’s digital brand expression across web, mobile, and marketing assets.</li> </ul> <h2 id="requirements">Requirements</h2> <p><strong>Technical Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proficient in modern design tools: Figma, FigJam, Storybook</li> <li>Strong in responsive and mobile-first UI design</li> <li>Hands-on experience creating and managing design systems (documentation, implementation, governance)</li> <li>Solid understanding of front-end basics (HTML/CSS) and developer collaboration</li> <li>Skilled in qualitative and quantitative user research and usability testing</li> <li>Familiar with accessibility standards (WCAG) and localization/internationalization needs</li> </ul> <p><strong>Soft Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strategic thinker with a strong product mindset</li> <li>Excellent communicator and cross-functional collaborator</li> <li>High ownership, self-motivation, and initiative</li> <li>Strong visual storytelling and ability to pitch design concepts</li> <li>Receptive to feedback and skilled at giving constructive critique</li> <li>Comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative, and agile environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or equivalent professional training</li> <li>5+ years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio (B2B or B2C digital products)</li> <li>Proven track record working in agile SaaS teams alongside product and engineering</li> <li>Prior ownership of design systems or full product UX journeys is a strong plus</li> </ul> <p><strong>Industry Knowledge</strong></p> <ul> <li>Background in eCommerce, SaaS, AI-driven tools, or CX platforms is a plus</li> <li>Familiarity with multi-language UX and mobile-first product strategies</li> </ul> <p><strong>Language Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Fluent in English (written and spoken)</li> <li>German and/or French proficiency is a plus, particularly for work with Swiss clients</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Certifications in UX Design or Design Systems</li> <li>Experience in brand identity and visual systems work</li> </ul> <h2 id="benefits">Benefits</h2> <ul> <li>Remote-friendly setup with offices in Berlin &amp; Munich</li> <li>28 vacation days + flexible working hours</li> <li>€2,000 annual personal development budget for training, courses, and conferences</li> <li>monthly tax-free benefit (Sachbezug) for wellbeing, mobility or food (via our partner Become1)</li> <li>Fully covered Deutschlandticket for public transportation</li> </ul>
