Clinically Advanced Physician Assistant - Cardiology - Mount Sinai Hospital - Full-time - Day shift

Performs physical examinations and gather historical information as designated. Formulates diagnosis and treatment plans with accuracy.

1.Appropriately documents orders and procedures

2.Consistently addresses diagnostic problem while charting         

3.Regularly consults with Attending M.D. for patient management guidance      

4.Recognizes limitations and seek assistance when necessary       

5.Accepts critical guidance without rancor

6.Readily consults with other disciplines and agencies      

7.Consistency provides “Turn Over” reports to the covering practitioner

8.Takes initiative when a colleague needs help        

9.Reports to work on time and prepared to start    

10.Recognizes early signs/symptoms of withdrawal

11.Responds appropriately to emergencies

12.Follows treatment and department protocols         

13.Maintains proficiencies as per department guidelines

14.Supervises training of newly hired Physician Assistants

15.Supervises medical activity of all Physician Assistants House Staff     

16.Maintains active medical education and up-grade for Physician Assistant House Staff  

17.Monitors the performance and skill levels of Physician Assistant House Staff

Compensation Statement

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $163,585.23 - $198,010.79 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
