$33.00- $50.50/hour-- Pay range is dependent on education, experience, licensure, and shift differential.
These nursing positions are for our Inpatient Psychiatric Unit and Psychiatric Urgent Care located in Peru, Indiana.

Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Complete nursing assessments and client assessments that include intake, evaluating a client’s ability to meet the admission criteria for that particular department, identify presenting problem(s), history, medical information, family involvement, psychosocial/psychosexual information, and other pertinent information to form an appropriate clinical impression including substance use/abuse and abuse/neglect.
- Document timely, accurately and in accordance with Center policies utilizing current systems and practices.
- Document accurate information, which reflects client progress based on the appropriate therapeutic modality. Therapeutic services will be time limited and specific to the presenting problem(s) of each assigned client.
- Request documentation from other facilities, as needed.
- Work with insurance companies to provide the required information and complete insurance documentation.
- Record delivery of all directed medications and treatments per treatment plan and policy.
- Deliver medications and other medical treatment as directed by physician’s orders.
- Deliver therapeutic services commensurate with skill level.
- Supervise subordinate personnel as assigned (i.e. client care specialists and medical assistants). An RN will be designated as the Charge Nurse each shift to fulfill these duties.
- Transcribe orders and call medications in to pharmacy.
- Schedule appointments and assist clients in obtaining appointments.
- Demonstrate an understanding of medication protocols and able to answer basic questions about medication.
- Complete referral paperwork as needed.
- Obtain requested information from other physicians/agencies.
- Demonstrate the ability to accurately assess and document a client’s medical status; including but not limited to taking vital signs, height, weight, BMI, and suicidal ideations reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Obtain client consents for releasing information.
- Demonstrate an understanding of basic concepts regarding practice of Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP).
- Teach common activities of daily living as need
