About the role: 

As a Senior Manager, GBS Strategy you will lead the Global Business Services Strategy working with Senior Leaders to develop, execute and optimize the GBS strategy, make resource allocation decisions, track KPIs, drive technology integration, and facilitate change management while collaborating with functional partners. Reporting to the Director, CIDO Strategy & Operations, you will collaborate with leaders across GBS, IT Finance, HR, and Corporate Communications. Your primary focus will be answering and prioritizing “What’s Next?” for the GBS team and translating this into inspiring vision and meaningful milestones. 

Your responsibilities include:

• Strategic Planning: Translate market dynamics and trends across the macroeconomic environment, inclusive of shared services, into recommendations for Boston Scientific
• Process Optimization: Identify the next big opportunities to enhance efficiency within GBS
• Technology Integration: Evaluate integration of cutting-edge technologies and digital solutions into GBS operations to drive innovation and competitiveness (i.e. AI solutions for commercial efficiency)
• Performance Metrics: Define KPIs/OKRs, track progress toward goals for data-driven decisions
• Strategic Partnerships: Identify and establish collaborations that contribute to GBS success.
• Key Investment Proposals: Evaluate and make decisions on key investments that align with GBS strategies, improving processes and capabilities; considerations: resource allocation, risk mitigation.
• Annual Strat Plan + AOP: Delivering strategic roadmap, detailed objectives and KPIs
• Operational Reporting: Highlight key metrics, areas for improvement, recommend strategies/actions
• Process Improvement Plans: Lead creation of and acceleration of these program goals
• Technology Integration: Prepare proposals outlining benefits and ROI
• Change Management: Develop framework/plans to ensure successful strategy implementation

What we're looking for: 
Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of related career experience 
• Proven experience in GBS strategy development and execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with digital transformation and technology integration.
• Change management and project management experience is a plus
