Responsibilities:

• Review production orders and schedules to the daily needs of the production floor.
• Daily production schedule.  Plans production operations, establishing priorities.
• Communicate with shipping and receiving for both TAP and Western Kentucky plants for timing of materials.
• Orders corrugated and other suppliers to support production.
• Helps manage inventory and maintain correct inventory levels.
• Orders, schedules, and maintains rubber inventories and components.
• Evaluates vendor deliveries in reference to promptness and quantity.
• Utilizes AS400 to generate master production schedule, material requirements, and to schedule vendor deliveries of production materials on a timely basis.
• Work with materials assistant and suppliers to assure on time delivery.
• Run MPS, MRP, and vendor scheduling weekly.  Builds production schedule using MPS planner.  Maintains/reviews supplier releases.
• Backup for Logistics Manager.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Five + years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Microsoft Office Suite required and ERP experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Supervisory skills.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and travel as needed.
