Brief Outline of Job:
This is a truly generalist role working within the North America corporate team providing HR services to the North American business and supporting the global HR function.
Reporting to the General Manager, North America with a dotted line through to the Global HR Team, the role has an administrative and generalist HR focus but also provides the opportunity for someone to be actively involved in broader HR Projects (e.g. Internal Communications, Reward & Benefits, Health and Wellbeing activities).
The HR Generalist will work closely with the global HR team to ensure that a high quality, efficient and confidential HR service is provided globally.  Duties and Responsibilities:
HR:·         Provide end to end HR support across the full employee lifecycle, aiding the delivery of HR services to Mulberry employees.·         Be the first point of contact for all HR related queries.·         Support employee relations matters (e.g. capability, absence management, harassment, corrective action, layoff) within the correct frameworks and coaching managers through these matters to ensure a successful and timely resolution with mitigation of risk.·         Maintain the local and global HRIS system to ensure it complies fully with regulation and enables accurate information and insight to be provided the business and its stakeholders.·         Manage the leaver process, preparing leaver documentation, conducting exit interviews and addressing any concerns highlighted where necessary.·         Administer and communicate employee benefits in collaboration with the Global HR and local Finance teams. ·         Proactively identify and drive continuous improvement across team working and HR provision·         Partner closely with the Global HR team to co-create and deliver people initiatives across the employee lifecycle, and work to embed the Employee Values ·         Support the evolution and communication of both Mulberry Global and local People Policies ensuring policy trends, best practice and employment law updates are considered and policies are easy to understand, inclusive and accessible·         Act as a performance improvement driver, coaching and supporting business leaders to ensure the execution of performance management requirements.·         Drive talent mapping process alongside stakeholders to identify key contributors and implement development plans to retain top talent. ·         Work closely with Finance teams to ensure people budgets are met. Participate and support with global salary reviews and salary benchmarking activities ·         Ensure mandatory training is completed annually to comply with regulations and design and deliver training on people related issues to managers.·         Other ad-hoc project work as required. Recruitment & Onboarding:
·         Responsible for hiring new employees within the North America region including posting job adverts, shortlisting and screening candidates, scheduling interviews, providing candidate feedback and raising offers.·         Ensure all electronic onboarding documents for the region are up to date and regularly maintained on the system (currently Lever).·         Organise and communicate Day 1 Induction plans to new starters within North America. Brand:·         Understand and demonstrate the Mulberry employee values and behaviours: Be Bold, Be Imaginative, Be Open, Be Responsible.·         Support Mulberry to deliver an inclusive culture, through behaving in a way that is open-minded and respectful towards others, and understanding that your views, opinions and experiences may not always be shared by your colleagues.·         Act as an ambassador for Mulberry and communicate positively about the brand.
Skills and Knowledge:
·         Relevant experience in an HR role in a fast-paced, professional environment (generalist HR experience preferred but not essential).·         SHRM qualified (or seeking to achieve or working towards qualification).·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen and assimilate relevant information.·         IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.·         Process orientated with strong planning skills. ·         Diligent and meticulous with a good eye for detail. ·         Must have excellent organisational skills and initiative, with the ability to manage the day-to-day HR processes effectively with minimal input. ·         Works with absolute confidentiality.·         A team player with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.·         P
