DNC is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to provide engineering services for multiple ASOS projects ensuring alignment with modernization efforts. This position is contingent upon final contract award.
Job Requirements:
• Assist the government in the creation, modification, and execution of measurable, testable and traceable Requirements Documentation.
• Assist the government in the creation and documentation of Requests for Change (RCs) for the ASOS baseline based on the requirements established.
• Assist the government in Configuration Management for engineering drawing changes, ensuring accuracy in project documentation.
• Compile, review, and deliver comprehensive technical data packages, incorporating vendor data.
• Update Site Technical Manual Chapters for various ASOS component integrations.
• Support the generation, editing, of Modification and Maintenance Notes for the implementation of system baseline changes to the ASOS functional and system baselines.
• Project Specific Responsibilities include:
• Engineering services for the TRH project
• Engineering services for ASOS Sensor Sustainment projects including IFWS, Visibility and Present Weather, Second Wind Sensor, OID/VDU, VHF Radio, Freezing Rain Sensor, TRHS, Ceilometer, Precipitation Measurement, Barometer, Thunderstorm Sensor and Pyrometer projects
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree System Engineering or similar
• Position requires 10-15 years of experience
• Position requires NOAA background check (Public Trust)
