About the role

Full Time Medical Assistant needed for orthopedic spine surgeon in Edmond

 

Responsibilities:

    • This role includes rooming patients, taking vitals, medication reconciliation, post-op care and medical records as needed for daily patient care
    • Chart accurate medical data in Epic
    • Scanning, indexing, completing medical forms, etc. 
    • Triage patient calls
    • Support the provider within the clinic and ensure efficient patient flow and quality patient care
    • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • MA Certification preferred or minimum of 2 years experience
  • Prior X-Ray imaging experience strongly preferred
  • Must be dependable with a strong work ethic and have strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with electronic medical records (Epic) preferred but not required
  • A professional and friendly demeanor with our patients, team member and our referral sources will guarantee your success
  • High School Graduate or equivalent required (GED)
