Director of Slot Operations

<p><span>Responsible for the successful operation of the Casino and assuring that our guests have a favorable gaming experience. Promote Family Style Service culture through actions and positive attitude.</span></p> <p><span><strong>HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY</strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Develop and manage the budget for the Casino Department.</span></li><li><span>Review and manage department’s financial data.</span></li><li><span>Ensure the safety and security of team members and guests.  Manage processes and programs to effectively control and reduce loss time injuries.</span></li><li><span>Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment.  Delegate duties and assign responsibilities.</span></li><li><span>Development of team members, interviews, hiring, and evaluations.</span></li><li><span>Direct and manage Slot equipment conversions, placement, and repair.</span></li><li><span>Direct and manage Table equipment, placement, and repair</span></li><li><span>Review slot activities and promotional status with VP/General Manager.</span></li><li><span>Monitor and adjust performance in comparison with local competition.</span></li><li><span>Handle routine customer complaints and incidents, and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel - seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.</span></li><li><span>Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.</span></li><li><span>Assist in maintaining a spotless casino by disposing of any cups, glasses, bottles, or other items left on the floor by guests.</span></li><li><span>Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.</span></li></ul> <p><span><strong>WHAT YOU WILL NEED</strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Must be 21 years of age or older</span></li><li><span>Proficient in English verbal and written</span></li><li><span>Proficient with iOS devices</span></li><li><span>Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays</span></li><li><span>Must be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 gaming license.</span></li><li><span>Seven to ten years experience with operational and management in multi-device 24-hour casino with a 4-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.</span><br/> </li></ul><p><span><strong>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds</span></li><li><span>Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds</span></li><li><span>Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively</span></li><li><span>Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment</span></li><li><span>Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period</span></li><li><span>Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period</span></li><li><span>Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment</span></li></ul>
