THE JOB:

The primary responsibility of the Assistant Manager will be to create an unforgettable dining experience across Bellagio's vibrant cafés. You’ll lead a dynamic team in delivering exceptional service, ensuring our innovative menu offerings shine. With a passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail, you’ll oversee daily operations and collaborate with culinary experts to elevate our café culture, transforming each visit into a memorable experience that embodies the elegance of Bellagio!

THE DAY TO DAY:

• Oversee daily operations and staff performance across six café outlets at Bellagio, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining high service standards

• Administrative duties such as checking emails and reviewing schedules, managing employee time off and vacation requests, and coaching staff on policies and procedures

• Supervise cashiers to ensure adherence to proper check handling protocols and oversee financial transactions, maintaining accurate processing

• Order supplies and manage inventory through the IP System and Purchasing, ensuring all cafés are adequately stocked and equipped

• Focus on providing exceptional customer service and spending ample time at cafés interacting with guests and staff

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Must currently hold or be able to obtain both a Food Handler’s and Alcohol Awareness card

• 2+ years of service experience in a similar dining environment

• 3+ years in a high-volume food and beverage setting

• Experience managing staff in a restaurant or café

• Degree in a related field is a plus

• Knowledge of health and sanitation regulations

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
