Your Purpose
The Internal Communications Manager will propose, plan, and implement a teammate communications strategy. This role will be a critical member of the People & Culture Leadership team, reporting to the Chief People Officer, and will be responsible for working across functions and at all levels within the company. This position must demonstrate the ability to provide thought leadership on critical business issues. Must serve as one of the main drivers of Company culture and teammate engagement and be an advocate for the teammates and business alike.
Your Role
Strategic Communication and Leadership Support
- Provide proactive strategic communications counsel and advice to the leadership team, ensuring all teammates feel well-informed and engaged.
- Proactively think how to communicate innovation, change, and performance in the most engaging way, building the communication plan and making it happen.
- Ensure our Operations management is equipped with the right communication/engagement material to engage our frontline teammates in an open and transparent way.
- Have a pulse on the organization to ensure the right message is getting to the right audience through the proper internal communications channels.
Digital and Intranet Management
- Oversee and maintain the company intranet used for communication, social posts, and recognition for our teammates companywide.
- Offer suggestions as new programs and technologies arise to promote efficiency for teammates.
Content Creation and Management
- Draft, edit, and distribute internal communications, and prepare standalone emails.
- Write and edit organizational announcements, and record and edit internal videos as needed.
- Manage internal weekly communication, including developing stories and managing editorial content.
Event and Logistics Coordination
- Manage the content, logistics and flow for quarterly companywide Town Halls.
- Lead effort to update distribution lists.

Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, English, Communications, Business, or related area.
- 4-6 years of experience in a communications role in an organization with a workforce across multiple locations.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required. Adobe Creative Suite and video editing experience a plus.
- Superior oral and written communication skills with the ability to organize and integrate information.
- Ability to simplify complex stories and concepts both in written and visual formats.
- Ability to interact with executive leaders, influencing stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task on multiple high-priority projects.
- Strong editorial and proofreading skills.
- Ability to complete tasks with both short-term and long-term deadlines.
- Understand the needs and motivations of and work with diverse groups of stakeholders.
- Creative thinker, detail oriented.
- Ability to ensure consistency with corporate messaging.
- Ability to bring passion, energy, and positive intensity to the team environment.
- Tremendous initiative and drive, with the ability to be resourceful, creative and maintain flexibility.
- High personal integrity; ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
