St. Louis Community College-Florissant Valley is seeking applicants for a full-time, temporary position in the graphic communications program for the spring semester of 2026. This role emphasizes animation and illustration and supports the well-established, NASAD-accredited graphic communications program within the School of Communication, Design, and Creative Arts.

What you'll do:

  • - Teach assigned courses in graphic communications, which may include day, evening, online, and hybrid classes.
    - Prepare and deliver instruction that aligns with established course learning objectives.
    - Develop and evaluate projects, assignments, and assessments.
    - Hold individual student conferences to discuss progress.
    - Maintain timely communication and provide feedback to support student success.
    - Collaborate professionally with colleagues in the department and engage in program activities.
    - Fulfill administrative responsibilities within the program, serve on committees, and work with the community to promote the program.

Education, experience, and other requirements:

- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field of art.
- Relevant professional experience in the graphic design industry.
- Expert-level proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong commun
