- Owns the development, implementation, assessment, and support of one or more components of an environment, application, or platform.
- Independently develops clean, maintainable, testable code for work assigned; performs peer code reviews.
- Participates in the overall health, performance, and availability and actively works resolution of system and client experience impacts for one or more environments, applications, or platforms.
- Embraces mentorship and training from senior engineers.
- Provides continuous improvement ideas to reduce expenses and/or improve efficiency.
- Applies recommended information security standards when developing code and seeks to validate.
- Assesses the technical viability of new and emerging products and technologies
- Contributes to technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts for developing code
- Identifies potential standards and best practices.
- Proposes high-level application platform architectural guidelines
Formulates and designs technical solutions to meet business needs
Skills:
- Minimum of 10 years of working experience in software development and ability to learn Argo
- Preferred minimum years of Argo experience is a must; ideally in Teller platform
- Preferred experience with Alogent interfaces
- Argo/Bankpro experience with traditional client/server architecture; Argo web/ API experience is a plus
- Experience in developing interfaces for Argo Teller platform with CAD devices, Check imaging software, Electronic Cash recycler machines is ideal
- Experience working with Alogent Front Counter is a plus
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and other relational databases
- Experience working with SOAP and RESTFUL web services
- Experience working with Web methods, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Azure Dev/Ops, XML and .Net is a plus
- Strong knowledge and experience with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)
- Experience in Banking / Financial Industry is a plus
- Ability to trouble shoot software and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-starter and driven
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $77,000 to $143,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
