Summer Camp Teachers & Counselors | Metro Columbia
The Sunshine House is seeking Summer Camp Teachers & Counselors for our schools throughout Columbia and Blythewood. We are hiring immediately.
No nights! No weekends! And make a difference every day.
Pay rate is $16 to $19 per hour, based on experience & education.
Positions Available At:
- Sunshine House of Columbia at Broad River Road, Greystone Blvd., Clemson Road, or Decker Blvd.
- Sunshine House of Blythewood
Summer Camp Teacher Responsibilities:
Summer camp staff supervise young campers and make sure they learn and have fun, while staying safe.
- Plan outdoor activities or sports for groups of campers.
- Lead recreational and educational activities, such as swimming or crafting.
- Educate campers through games and explorations.
- Make sure all safety rules are followed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 6 months of experience working in licensed childcare required.
- ECD 101 or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Energetic and positive personality.
