What You’ll Do:

As the Maintenance Assistant, you’ll help maintain the building, grounds, and mechanical systems to ensure a safe, comfortable environment. You’ll:

• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to facility repair needs

• Support residents and staff with maintenance-related requests

• Monitor and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

• Coordinate with outside vendors when necessary

• Stay alert and responsive to emergency maintenance issues

What You’ll Bring:

• Minimum of 2 years of HVAC experience

• 3 years of general maintenance experience (Assisted Living experience preferred)

• Knowledge in key maintenance areas, including:

  • Plumbing: fixtures, drains, water heaters, dishwashers, ice machines

  • HVAC: heat pumps, refrigeration, ventilation

  • Electrical: wiring, voltage/amperage basics

  • Mechanical systems: general engine/equipment operation

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record

• Reliable, proactive approach to work

• Willingness to respond to emergencies outside of scheduled hours
