Make an Impact

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead with a demonstrated track record of coordinating across multiple engineering teams. With expertise in machine learning, ETL, and AI technologies, the ideal candidate will manage our quality assurance processes and help build and coordinate automated testing systems. This individual will need to strike a balance between being a hands-on team player and a coach, driving both strategy and execution within the QA department.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QA team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Build, coordinate, and manage automated testing systems in collaboration with multiple engineering teams.
• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
• Act as the key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
• Perform and oversee thorough QA testing for both manual and automated test cases.
• Communicate effectively with multiple engineering teams to identify system requirements and relay possible issues.
• Document quality assurance activities, noting all processes and obstacles to quality product development.
• Train and mentor team members on best testing practices and ensure adherence to processes and methodologies.
• Manage and prioritize QA workflow and ensure the team is meeting deadlines and deliverables are achieved.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a QA lead or senior QA engineer role.
• Proven experience in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with machine learning, ETL, and AI technologies, and the ability to apply this knowledge to automated testing environments.
• Experience in automated testing and proficient with automated testing tools.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proven track record of coordinating effectively across multiple engineering teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize the results.
• Able to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
