Position Summary

Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products on Linux desktop environment.

Changes to individual responsibilities may occur due to business needs and other related duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other application developers to design, code, and maintain high quality, desktop applications against established processes in a scrum team setting
• Work with software teams to ensure alignment of architecture to user requirements
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and evaluate applicability of new software technologies to platform development efforts

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge and experience with C# and .net core
• Experience developing applications in Linux
• Experience with Angular is a plus
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and other architectural patterns
• Proficient with source control management repositories (such as GIT, SVN, etc.) and CM practices
• Extensive experience writing high quality unit tests against mock objects
• Good understanding of object oriented analysis and design
• Expertise with troubleshooting issues
• Demonstrated success in collaborating in a fast-paced team environment and delivering high-quality software products using established agile development methodologies (such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.) against formal schedules

Experience/Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Software Engineering).
• Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience as SW engineer.

The estimated base salary range for the Sr Software Engineer role based in the United States of America is: $126,800 - $190,200. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
