Job Overview

The Group Leader for regional digitalization team driving connectivity solutions for the Americas Region.  Responsible for the regions coordination, prioritization, and consolidation of all topics around connectivity & data systems under digitalization and operations IT.  The position is the main contact for coordination and focuses on all activities around connectivity & machines production data for optimization & process improvement. Additionally, it is responsible for supporting and growing the regions connectivity topics as they relate to the overall regional & global digital targets.      

Your Key Responsibilities

• Leads assigned team to analyze, consolidate and develop functional digital transformation concepts and to execute transformation projects in an organization or functional area assigned.
• Develops business concepts, implements guidelines and processes.
• Manages project portfolio, allocates resources, prioritizes measures and assigns tasks and monitors project progress.
• Contributes to budget planning, oversees and manages all day-to-day functional operations, with focus on effective implementation and application of digital systems.
• Proposes improvements and manages functional solutions-related transactions with involved internal and external parties.
• Collaborates with governance stakeholders to support the implementation of non-functional requirements.

Your Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, (Statistics and Modeling) and/or SW Engineering
• Experience working in functional and cross-functional teams
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical thinking skills
• Goal and results oriented
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
• Experience in ERP, preferably SAP
• Knowledge of ongoing digital improvement activities or software within operation including connectivity, digital tracking/ Shop Floor Management, machine connectivity, networks and IT architecture 
• Some programming experience preferred
