What this job involves - The BI Analyst-Projects is charged with a wide variety of tasks. This person will manage the creation of dashboards, reports and analytics using JLL and BMO robust technological tools and systems to support the prioritization of portfolio decisions, trends and tracking.

 

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Provide Project Analytics and project status information reports on a reoccurring weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

  • Troubleshoot and seek solutions based on data from Trackers, data management systems, internal and cloud databases and systems of records.

  • Analyze reports for trends and communicate those trends in various formats including but not limited to Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Excel and other tools to the FMO team and the client.

  • Use robust and detailed technology and bring technological advances to the Project Delivery Process

  • Interface with JLL/Technology  contacts to help project managers and client resolve system access or other technical issues

  • Document and evolve processes in order to support the implementation of innovations and best practices for Facilities Management team

  • Be able to support training of new users to accounts with respect to Business Intelligence, Analytics and technology.

  • Create and maintain, in collaboration with BI Analysts a Project Intelligence and Analytics Dashboard library and Maintain BI portal for Project team and client.

  • Support projects from initiation to execution, thru reporting, tracking and analysis of project success and risk.  

  • Ensure accurate & timely documentation of methods and procedures related to Dashboards and Reports developed for Project teams

  • Other responsibilities related to the job directly asked by the Account Director.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of practical experience in a project administration, corporate real estate, financial analysis or business intelligence position

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance Computer Science, or a construction related field is required.

  • Experience in Data Analysis/ Reporting/ Visualization with Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, SPSS, SSRS

  • Experience in Programming Languages: SQL, Alteryx, Python

  • Master’s degree (MBA) or similar postgraduate (Computer Programming, Project Management) certification is preferred.

  • Experience in Project Management related to Construction and Real Estate is desired.

  • Highly organized, Creative, Team Oriented with very strong communication skills.

Location: Chicago, IL

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

95,000.00 – 110,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
