What you bring to the table:

The purpose of the Administrative Assistant role is to provide essential support to the administrative and operational functions of the Healthcare at Home division for the Veteran Directed Care (VDC) and Home Health (HH) programs. Provided support will ensure task & project ownership, efficient documentation, and effective communication with patients, caregivers, and all Home Health and IC employees.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the home health department.
  • Manage a variety of projects for the Healthcare at Home team, which includes but is not limited to: updating policy and procedures, quality assurance, enrollment paperwork, maintaining current spreadsheet data, annual & committee surveys, oversight of regulatory compliance, drafting, documenting, and maintaining records. 
  • Compile statistical data for the Healthcare at Home departments to include renewables, vaccination requirements, and specific statistics used to draft monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports. 
  • Capture detailed meeting minutes and committee notes accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicates effectively with all members of the agency through documentation, verbal reports, training, and participation in staff meetings & committees as required.
  • This position may also require the performance of other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite with a proven track record of effectively managing complex spreadsheets, data analysis, and generating reports.
