The agency is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Support Service Worker (Customer Service Rep) within the Fulton County Board of Health in the Nursing & Clinical Services Division/Maternal and Child Health (MCH).

Examples of duties

The Customer Service Representative II supports the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) Program by serving as a primary point of contact for families, healthcare providers and stakeholders.  Providing accurate information regarding newborn hearing screenings, diagnostic services and early intervention resources.  Assist with scheduling, referrals and follow-up coordination.  Enter, update and maintain client data in SENDSS/VHN. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA and state regulations.  Support outreach and education initiatives.

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of experience communicating information in a customer service setting

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Maternal and Child Health or Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Program Bilingual proficency (e.g. English/Spanish)
Experience with electronic medical records
Familiarity with HIPPA and confidentiality requirements
Experience working with diverse populations
