PTC Windchill Consultant

Opportunity

Information Management Group, Inc. IMG is hiring a PTC Windchill Consultant to support a project in West Mifflin, PA. This individual must have an active DOE L clearance or DoD Secret clearance at a minimum. This individual will be a full-time employee and will be overseeing the configuration, management, and optimization of PTC Windchill to meet organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and tailor the Windchill environment based on business and engineering requirements.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document PLM needs and translate them into technical solutions.

• Use Windchill APIs, Java, and related tools to create custom functionalities and enhancements.

• Connect Windchill with ERP, CAD, and other enterprise systems to streamline data flow and processes.

• Train end-users and administrators, and offer ongoing technical support and troubleshooting.

• Perform routine maintenance, apply patches, and manage system upgrades to ensure optimal performance and security.

Salary: 90-150k/year

Qualifications

 

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience with PTC Windchill administration, configuration and integration
• Strong understanding of .PLM principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on translating business needs into technical solutions

  Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with government clients or in regulated environments is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with a proactive and solution oriented approach.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. Windchill Professional Certification)
