Part-Time Health Assistant (Nurse) - Dempsey Day School

Dixon School District #170 is accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Health Assistant (Nurse) at Reagan Middle School/Madison School for the 2026-2027 school year. 

DUTIES INCLUDE

1. Administer first aid to students and staff; assess students' complaints of illness.  Make decisions to have ill or injured students transported to a doctor, hospital or home when needed.
2. Review student health records; verify that physicals and immunizations are compliant.
3. Perform routine health care duties as directed by the Health Services Coordinator.
4. Maintain student health records.
5. Assist the RMS/Madison nurse with day-to-day tasks and paperwork. 

QUALIFICATIONS

1. RN or LPN with current active license.
2. Interest and ability to work with students, parents, and colleagues.
3. Ability to perform routine health care duties as directed by the District Health Coordinator.

SALARY AND FRINGE BENEFITS

1. Hourly rate will be determined based upon license and experience.
2. 20 - 25 hours per week

Pay Range for LPN: $19.59-$24.14

Pay Range for RN: $20.75-$25.42
