JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Early Career Rotation Program 2024 - Sales to join our growing team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The JELD-WEN Early Career Rotational Program empowers talented new graduates to explore different roles and specialties in one of six strategic business areas. This position is focused on the Sales business area. The program offers rotations through the various aspects of Sales to enhance and grow awareness of how Sales drives business priorities. The program also provides over 200 hours of professional development, mentoring and networking opportunities to grow participant’s future leadership potential. Upon completion of the two-year program, successful participants will be selected for critical roles within the JELD-WEN North America Sales team.
During this two-year rotational program, participants will move through multiple rotations all within the North America Sales function. Each rotation provides the opportunity to learn and experience a different aspect of the employee lifecycle, and develops greater awareness of the interactions between employees, leaders, organizational culture, and Sales teammates. The program’s goal is to build a pipeline of Sales talent who understand and are exposed to multiple aspects of this discipline. Potential Sales rotations include:
- Product Line Management
- Traditional Sales for JW Doors
- Traditional Sales for Windows
- Retail Sales
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Examples of opportunities that Rotational Associates received in the past are:
- Make sales presentations to customers demonstrating our products and capabilities
- Partner with strategic account management at larger accounts, but may be the primary account lead for smaller accounts
- Analyze sales and customer point of sales data
- Provide timely customer communications regarding routine quotes, lead times, account status, or any other customer requests or concerns
- Utilize the sales tools, CRMs, sales catalogues
- Co-create proposals for profitable sales growth
- Research competitor products and key features/benefits in order to sell and promote JW competitive advantages.
- Update and clean store displays as needed
- Use blueprints to assist store and customers in quoting JW products
- Conduct product knowledge meetings with team members in the stores
- Participate in customer and product portfolio review (80:20 matrix building)
- Understand and monitor key performance metrics on an assigned product line and individual product performance throughout the product lifecycle
- Support the introduction of a new product to market
- Participate in Voice of Customer (VOC) activities
SKILLS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Sales, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration)
- Motivated and customer-oriented individual with attention to detail
- Demonstrated work ethic and detail-orientation
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment and produce high-quality work
- Demonstrated collaboration and teamwork
- Leadership experience and relationship-building skills
- Previous internship or work experience
- Ability to relocate for program rotations
Recommended
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Relevant internship or previous experience in a Sales environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
