As an Account Manager within PNC's Escrow & Paying Agent group in the Treasury Management organization, you will be based in San Diego, CA, Minneapolis, MN, or Colorado.The Account Manager position is a fast-paced back-office position with the Escrow and Paying Agent group. We work with M&A clients to collect documentation and payment instructions that securityholders are required to complete to receive their merger consideration. In this role, you will gain in-depth knowledge of the PNC Paid platform and become a subject-matter expert in the database’s capabilities. You will be responsible for ensuring the database is setup correctly for each unique M&A deal – this entails proficiency in Excel; ability to self-start; knowledge of the securities industry; and excellent communication skills as you will communicate deal requirements between the Relationship management, Operations and Software Development teams.

Job Responsibilities
- Clearly communicate details of data loads to the Operations team
- Redline legal documents and track document changes and versions from the
client
- Clearly communicate DocuSign mapping directions to the Operations team.
- Quality Control of database setup
- Navigate through clients Funds Flow excel spreadsheets and work with
internal teams to ensure outgoing funds are in balance.
- Organize meetings with RM’s to test and discuss deal mechanics in PAID prior
to deal solicitation.
Job Description
- Under direct supervision, works in support of assigned long-term client relationships. Provides sales or consultative support to clients and serves as the liaison between clients and operational servicing units. May participate in pricing and resource discussions and in developing the scope of service provided to existing and potential clients.
- Serves as point of contact for client matters. May help identify and develop new servicing opportunities with existing clients to build and maintain a long-lasting relationship. Utilizes basic industry and PNC knowledge to inform customers of appropriate products/services, rates, and other opportunities.
- Involved in negotiating servicing agreements and servicing fees for existing clients if contract modifications are needed. Will work with in-house counsel and clients on contract negotiations. This includes the review of the servicing agreements to ensure contract terms meet servicing guidelines.
- Analyzes, assesses and documents client requirements. Forecasts and tracks key account metrics May identify customization needs, and work with service partners to implement.
- Supports processes outlined in the contract and independently resolves challenges regarding implementation and production issues. Works towards finding the best solution to maintain a positive client relationship.
