Pay Rate: $17.20 - 18.20 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, healthcare-related policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
• Assist with enforcing controlled-access requirements for restricted areas, including checking deliveries and directing authorized personnel to appropriate locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
