About Organization

Within the RF Planning & Optimization Department, we focus on Cluster Owner activities, including daily KPI monitoring of assigned clusters and network enhancement initiatives. Our team, whether part of the Central or Regional groups, works closely under the guidance of the Zone Manager. Job Duties

As a Zone Manager (East Tokyo Region), you will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional network experience for the end customer. This includes seamless last-mile connectivity and collaboration with all stakeholders to meet our objectives. Your responsibilities will encompass day-to-day KPI monitoring, network enhancement initiatives, and contributing to the overall strategy and execution of RF Planning and Optimization activities.

• Monitor daily KPIs of assigned clusters and undertake network enhancement initiatives.

• Work collaboratively within the Central or Regional RF Planning & Optimization teams.

• Report directly to the Zone Manager, contributing to team efforts and achieving set targets.

• Ensure seamless last-mile connectivity and engage with all stakeholders to enhance network performance.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8-10 years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer, Electronics, Electrical/Communication Engineering).

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in RF Design & Optimization.

• Detailed understanding of vRAN architecture, Open RAN principles, and RAN automation.

• Excellent knowledge of Radio KPIs, counters, parameters, and the ability to perform feature trials, worst cell analysis, and issue root cause analysis.

• Good understanding of call flows (User & Signalling) with the ability to troubleshoot RAN issues in the network.

• Exposure to at least one of the radio planning tools (Atoll, Planet, Asset, etc.).

• Experience working with any one of the CEM/geo-location tools.

• Fast learner, motivated, and willing to work longer hours if required.

• Ability to perform Drive tests using third-party tools and analyze the same (Coverage Analysis, L3 message analysis, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• Cross-domain knowledge of IPTX, Core is highly desirable.

• Knowledge in any one of the scripting languages is preferred.

• Experience in data analytics and data science is a valued skill.
