Rights Clearance Agent

This is a remote position.

As a Rights Clearance Agent, you’ll manage a high volume of copyright cases, using strong communication and negotiation skills to resolve issues and promote proper licensing. You'll work with tools like Zendesk to process claims, verify licenses, and negotiate settlements—blending customer service, basic legal knowledge, and sales in a fast-paced environment.

• Handle a high volume of copyright infringement cases (approximately 5,000 tickets monthly)
  

• Use Zendesk to prioritize and manage cases efficiently
  

• Verify submitted image licenses for compliance
  

• Educate users on copyright laws and the importance of proper image licensing
  

• Negotiate settlements and licensing agreements, promoting win-win resolutions
  

• Apply basic sales techniques to convert non-compliant users into paying customers
  

• Customize communications using pre-written response snippets for clarity and consistency
  

• Stay updated on copyright laws and company procedures to provide expert assistance
  

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
  

• Experience in customer service or sales, ideally in a high-volume or fast-paced setting
  

• Familiarity with ticketing systems like Zendesk (training provided if needed)
  

• Strong independent work ethic and time management skills
  

• Proven negotiation and problem-solving abilities
  

• Basic knowledge of copyright and digital rights (or strong interest in learning)
  

• Professionalism and resilience when interacting with a wide range of user responses, including potential scammers
  

• Comfort in managing multiple tickets and tasks simultaneously
  

• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams for communication and collaboration
