A day in the life...

 

AI and Machine Learning Expertise: 

  • Develop a deep understanding of our AI tools and technologies. 

  • Stay current with AI/ML advancements and best practices. 

Communication and Evangelism: 

  • Articulate complex AI concepts in an accessible and engaging manner. 

  • Create and deliver compelling presentations, demos, and technical content (blogs, whitepapers, tutorials). 

  • Represent Nordstrom at conferences, webinars, and community events. 

Developer Relations: 

  • Build and nurture a thriving developer community. 

  • Organize and participate in meetups, hackathons, and other community events. 

  • Establish feedback channels and use developer insights to inform product development. 

Strategic Vision: 

  • Define and drive the strategy for AI tools, aligning with business goals and developer needs. 

  • Conduct market analysis to stay ahead of AI and developer tooling trends. 

Collaboration and Influence: 

  • Work closely with engineering, product management, marketing, and other teams to drive AI tool adoption. 

  • Influence and persuade stakeholders to support AI initiatives. 

Technical Leadership: 

  • Mentor and guide team members on AI best practices. 

  • Promote a culture of innovation and experimentation. 

Metrics and Impact Measurement: 

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of AI tools. 

  • Conduct ROI analysis to demonstrate the value of AI tools. 

 

You own this if you have...

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent industry experience

  • 7+ years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on AI/ML or related technologies. 

  • Proven experience in AI and machine learning, including hands-on experience with AI/ML tools and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). 

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with experience creating technical content and delivering presentations. 

  • Experience building and nurturing developer communities.
