Our hospital is seeking a Part-Time Large Animal Assistant to help provide outstanding patient care and client service in a fast-paced, multi-doctor equine hospital. THIS POSITION REQUIRES LARGE ANIMAL (CATTLE) EXPERIENCE. 
The Large Animal Assistant is responsible for assisting Veterinarians in the care of equine patients. The Large Animal Assistant will work closely with the veterinarians and technicians to help ensure all patients receive proper care and treatment. 

Applicants must demonstrate professionalism, dependability, healthy and positive communication skills, and the ability to multi-task. Our next team member will be an energetic people-and-pet person with excellent work ethic and social and organizational skills. Must be willing to work flexible hours.

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise

• Primary responsibility of direct patient care 
• Maintain inpatient records
• Help with patient handling
• Maintain parking areas, lameness pad, ensuring that they are clean and orderly
• Maintain a clean facility by cleaning floors, removing garbage, and cleaning multi-surface areas as needed
