1Job Description Summary
Works directly with members of the Youth Climbing Team (YCT) ranging in ages 5-16 years old as well as other coaches to provide safe, educational and fun weekly climbing practices.Job Description
Essential Duties:
- Maintain safety of YCT members during practice times
- Design and provide well suited climbing instruction to YCT members
- Demonstrate strong character values and determination in helping each climber develop as both a climber and person
- Coordinate planned activities and facility use with other coaches
- Participate in YCT trips and activities
- Market the program throughout the season and as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have Belay Qualifications at Miami's Climbing Wall or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Current CPR, First Aid, and BBP Certifications or obtain within 30 days of hire
- Must be able to pass a State of Ohio Criminal Background Check
