Job Description Summary

Works directly with members of the Youth Climbing Team (YCT) ranging in ages 5-16 years old as well as other coaches to provide safe, educational and fun weekly climbing practices.

Job Description

Essential Duties:

• Maintain safety of YCT members during practice times
• Design and provide well suited climbing instruction to YCT members
• Demonstrate strong character values and determination in helping each climber develop as both a climber and person
• Coordinate planned activities and facility use with other coaches
• Participate in YCT trips and activities
• Market the program throughout the season and as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have Belay Qualifications at Miami's Climbing Wall or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Current CPR, First Aid, and BBP Certifications or obtain within 30 days of hire
• Must be able to pass a State of Ohio Criminal Background Check
