About the Role

DoorDash is looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead design and strategy for a completely new product offering on DoorDash — a suite of financial products that will help DoorDash customers to save more and earn more. We’re building the future of consumer finance, and we need talented designers to shape this vision.

You will design and ship innovative experiences across web and native mobile, define long term product vision, and work with cross functional stakeholders to drive the strategy and roadmap for your team. 

You will also have the opportunity to directly contribute to a net-new design system, drive initiatives to up-level the craft of our product, and collaborate closely with Dasher and Merchant teams to build the future of finance across DoorDash.

You will report into the Design Manager, Dasher on our Dasher and Logistics Design team in our Product Design organization. This role is a hybrid opportunity, 1-2 days onsite from one of our Design hubs, the rest working from home.

• You are a senior-level IC with 5+ years of work experience
• You’ve worked on consumer-facing products. If you have experience in consumer finance, even better
• You consider yourself a craftsperson, have a passion for visual design and prototyping, and always sweat the details
• You are all about 0 to 1, and enjoy driving clarity in ambiguous spaces
• You are hands-on and passionate about rapid experimentation, directly talking to users to understand their pain points, and wearing many hats
• You love thinking long term, crafting visions, and jamming on strategy. For you, design is more than just the pixels- it’s being a true thought partner

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.  Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.
