About the role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform data analysis to develop and validate the simulation framework evaluating Zoox’s autonomous driving software. You collaborate with key stakeholders in the simulation team to gain insight into the safety and comfort performance of our robotaxi. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in building performance metrics and conducting in-depth data analyses, contributing to data-driven decision-making within the cutting-edge field of autonomous vehicles.

Technical Qualifications & Language Requirements

Proficiency in Python/Scala/Java
Familiarity with SQL
Knowledge of statistical methods
Problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically
Bonus: Knowledge of data analysis libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn
Excellent communication and data visualization skills to transform insights from analysis into concise and informative narratives
Interest in learning about how data science can accelerate development of the autonomy stack

CompensationThe monthly salary range for this position is $6,500 to $9,500. Compensation will vary based on role, degree level and type, and benefits will be offered based on eligibility. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, 401k, and a housing stipend.
