The Colorado Springs Interiors team is focused on innovation, safety and cost efficiency in the manufacturing of pilot, co-pilot and cabin attendant seating.  The highly sought after Quality System and Compliance discipline will oversee the processes, procedures, requirements, contracts and metrics to ensure the organization’s compliance.  This unique position evaluates the compliance and effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) and programs while aligning with regulatory standards to ensure reliability of product.

This role is NOT able to offer relocation assistance.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the implementation and maintenance of procedures and metrics supporting compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
  • Provide guidance on, and explanations of, policies, government regulations and agency guidelines to ensure compliance with external standards.
  • Manage processes, standards and plans for the implementation of minimum standards and utilization of tools and methods to ensure effectiveness of existing quality processes and sustain quality performance improvements.
  • Manage quality compliance audit processes, providing guidance and input to auditors at all stages.
  • Oversee reviews of procedures and metrics which impact quality to ensure compliance with internal standards.
  • Perform product and process audits and quality audits and reviews.
  • Review quality data and determine if all products and processes are aligned with regulatory standards.
  • Recommend corrective actions and process reengineering.
  • Prepare and maintain Quality documentation.

Qualifications You Must Have 

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract 

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in the Manufacturing Industry
  • AS9100D Lead Auditor Certification
  • FAA CFR Part 145 and Part 21
  • SAP
