Job Summary
Retail Specialists attend to customers at the Cirrus Store’s physical locations. They are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and personal shopping experiences based on each customer’s unique needs. Retail Specialists should have a passion for forming meaningful relationships in a client-centric retail environment. They foster a friendly atmosphere, discovering opportunities to surprise and delight, while maintaining in-depth knowledge of merchandise available both in the physical store and on the ecommerce site. This position is responsible for inventory standards, maintaining accurate records and adhering to visual standards, acting as the first line of protection against inventory loss. These functions culminate in the efforts to grow revenue while enhancing the customer experience and building lifelong relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Perform daily operational duties at physical store locations, including: store opening and store closing, ringing up sales on the point of sale, handling various forms of payments, processing refunds and exchanges, issuing gift certificates, and applying coupons and discounts.
- Receive merchandise, ensure products are properly priced and labeled, and maintain stock levels appropriately on the store floor.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, organized, and enticing display of products at all times, adhering to visual standards.
- Ensure accurate inventory, participate in physical inventory counts.
- Reconcile financial data at the end of each shift and ensure that there are no shortages or overages; explain any discrepancies.
- Communicate with team members and customers; answer phones, voicemails and emails in a timely fashion.
- Encourage sales, make suggestions, offer alternatives and upsell.
- Maintain in-depth product knowledge.
- Maintain storage of backstock merchandise, keep neat and organized.
- Understand, anticipate and deliver the needs of the Cirrus Store's various customer profiles, including elevated clientele.
- Demonstrate a motivation to continuously improve personal performance.
- Look for and develop store improvements in merchandise selection, visual standards and operational processes.

- High School Diploma required.
- Two year’s retail or customer service experience.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to quickly learn other programs and systems.
- Capable to work independently, with minimal daily supervision.
- Driven to achieve goals.
- Adapts easily to shifting priorities.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
- Valid driver’s license with good record.
