We are currently seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant (Healthcare experience required) to join our team at Georgia Diagnostics and Classification Prison (Jackson, GA).

Shift:

• Day shift | Full-time | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Monday- Friday 

Hourly rate:

• $21+ an hour

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing administrative duties and supporting program and staff needs by fulfilling routine clerical, secretarial, and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, creating spreadsheets, and providing information to callers for designated behavioral health units. This professional works extensively with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required 
• 3 years of experience in medical facility 
• 2 years of experience as an administrative assistant
• 3 years of experience utilize Microsoft office programs 
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
