Junior Construction Site Manager

Key Responsibilities:Site Supervision and Coordination:Assist in the coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient execution of construction activities.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.Assist in the resolution of construction-related issues and conflicts that may arise during the course of the project.Safety and Compliance:Implement and enforce company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on site.Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks, and ensure that all workers are properly trained and equipped to perform their tasks safely.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing construction activities.Quality Assurance:Monitor construction activities to ensure that workmanship and materials meet project quality standards and specifications.Conduct quality inspections and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to address any deficiencies or non-conformities.Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other quality control activities.Communication and Reporting:Serve as a point of contact for project stakeholders, including the project manager, subcontractors, and clients, and communicate project updates and progress as needed.Prepare daily reports, progress reports, and other documentation to track project milestones, expenditures, and issues.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.1+ years of experience in the construction industry, with exposure to on-site construction activities.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.OSHA certification or other relevant safety certifications preferred.
