Operations Supervisor - 2nd Shift

1. We are looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our Maryville DRiV team. 

1. Education and/or Experience
   1. High School degree or GED.
   2. Working knowledge of manufacturing environment.

2. Position Overview
   1. Comply with all Safety and Quality Procedures
   2. Supervise all personnel and operations on the shift and departments as assigned.
   3. Evaluate and control product processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping of the departments assigned and meeting production quality and quantity standards on the shift.
   4. Organize work for smooth operations ensure the plant meets weekly and monthly production goals.
   5. Assure amounts, quality, and timeliness of components to the production lines are available to complete production schedules on time.
   6. Conduct daily status updates via Gemba boards for assigned areas
   7. Coordinate with Ops manager and HR manager to ensure adequate number of employees, scheduled hours, and work areas, and monitor efforts to complete planned production schedules.
   8. Communicate daily with employees, other supervisors, planners, and management to ensure status and needs of your area of responsibility.
   9. Keep aware of production requirements and expected performance
   10. Monitor the training status of all employees in your assigned area of responsibility
   11. Troubleshoots problems of scrap, salvage, and rework of parts to keep costs and occurrences at a minimum, creating corrective action teams as necessary
   12. Perform daily inspection of area of responsibility ensuring standards of cleanliness are met
   13. Contribute ideas for Safety, Quality, Process and 5S improvements within the facility
   14. Supervises employees in department in the production of quality products to meet customer order requirements and ensures compliance with all safety and health, environmental quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards. 
   15. Performs other assignments (or duties) as required.

5. Maintains adequate number of employees, schedules hours and work stations, and monitoring efforts to complete planned production schedules.
6. Communicates daily with employees and related departments.
7. Keep aware of production requirements and expected performance.
8. Informs plant manager of both progress and problems.
9. Monitor progress of and determine areas of needed training.
10. Troubleshoots problems of scrap, salvage, and rework of parts to keep costs and occurrences at a minimum, creating corrective action teams as necessary.
11. Monitor daily quality, rework, and scrap.
