Psychometrist

As a member of Neuro Performance Injury Center team, the Psychometrist will be responsible for administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological assessment tools for patients at Armina Health. The Psychometrist will work closely with the Neurology and Neuropsychology teams to provide comprehensive psychological care to patients with neurological conditions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Administer and score psychological and neuropsychological tests
• Clinical and administrative tasks such as chart reviews of referred patients, contacting patients to coordinate appointments, requesting medical records, and communicating with scheduling and other staff.
• Ensure the integrity of all clinical data collected, verifying the quality of the data and checking for completeness.
• Perform data entry.
• Schedule patients 
• Maintain clinical protocols, policies and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing research protocols as needed.
• Perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

• (1) year related experience in administration and scoring of psychological and neuropsychological tests, psychometrics/statistics, and clinical assessments.
• Experience with patients with brain injury and/or dysfunction. (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree or better (preferred)
• Psychometrist certification is optional.
• Travel might be required to Yuma and Tucson Clinics

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Working knowledge of federal and state regulations that impact clinic operations, including HIPAA.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Ability to use MS Office programs, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (HER) and other computer programs.
• Effectively interact with people and develop positive relationships while being tactful, respectful, and direct in communication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and handle a fast-paced work environment.
