Are you interested in an internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree to participate in 3 month co-op opportunities at our site in Murrysville, PA

• Assist in the Design, Prototype, and Testing of CPAP mask systems and sub-systems.

• Compile and analyze data to support mask and CPAP machine designs. 

• Support small-scale fabrication and assembly of prototypes. Support bench testing and trialing of prototypes.

• Be highly motivated, self-disciplined, open-minded individual possessing hands-on skills.

• Successfully interact with group members in various technical disciplines.

• Use critical thinking to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Deliver creative solutions to somewhat complex and subjective problems.

You're the right fit if:

• Pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, or Plastics Engineering Student
• Solid basic computer skills including MS Office Suite
• Good communication and presentation skills for reporting project status. Detail oriented documentation skills desired
• Knowledge of CAD (Pro-E), FEA and CFD, software desired
• You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position is Bachelor Level: $25 – 29 an hour: an hour plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
