Cooley Dickinson Medical Group Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is where experienced, highly trained professionals advance the health of patients through specialized, expert treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal (bones, ligaments, muscles, tendons) problems. The practice’s holistic approach to orthopedics involves coordination of personalized services within the practice and with other providers, to ensure a comprehensive range of care to people of all ages. We have combined expertise in all major orthopedic specialties, including sports medicine, orthopedic trauma, hand & upper extremities, joint replacement and spine care.

Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Clinic/Practice Assistant to support our West Hatfield practice onsite Monday through Friday from 8:30am- 5:00pm.The Clinic/Practice Assistants serves as the face of our medical group and plays a key role in managing the patient experience on the reception/administrative support side. We are looking for well-rounded customer service professionals who can multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a high-volume outpatient setting!
We currently have a team of 7 Clinic/practice assistant who do a mix of both phones and work at front desk. We are looking for the last person to complete are collaborative team. Our philosophy is that if a new hire has strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for patient care, everything else can be taught so we are happy to teach and train!
Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of six (6) months reception or customer service experience required, preferably in a health care setting
Additional Job Details (if applicable)
Preferred:
- Familiarity with insurance payers
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
- Bilingual Spanish/English
