Job Title: Provider Relations Representative
Department: Market Ops - Bay Area

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a driven Provider Relations Representative who will be responsible of both field and office activities in providing supports to the IPA’s provider network. This role involves collaborating with contracted providers to ensure comply with IPA and Health Plan standards.

What You’ll Do

• Develop trusted relationships and maintain open lines of communication with providers through routine in-person visits, emails, via phone
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure provider inquiries are resolved in a timely and effective manner
• Provide detailed reporting of provider visits, inquiries, training, and growth opportunities
• Work cross-functionally with internal departments
• Other duties assigned by department leaders

Qualifications

• Associates degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in provider network management, or a similar role within the healthcare industry
• Understanding of Managed Care
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to frequently travel to designated service regions as required.
• Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions

• Our organization follows an in-person work structure where the expectation is to work in office on a weekly basis. The office is located at 355 Gellert Blvd, S 200, Daly City, CA 94015.
• This is a field representative position and requires traveling depending on assignments or projects. This could be 2-3 times per week, and also requires monthly visits to provider offices.
• Occasionally required to work overtime and /or during the weekend. 
• Must always have and maintain a reliable source of transportation to visit provider offices across San Francisco and San Mateo area.
• The target pay range for this role is $26.00 - $31.00 per hour. This salary range represents our national target range for this role.
