- Help build and lead data science teams on projects to deliver world-class products.
- Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how users interact with our products.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities.
- Development of data resources, gather requirements, organize sources, and support product launches and data science projects.
- Analyze data, business intelligence, and statistical results to identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations and influence the direction of Meta’s product decisions and product launches by effectively communicating results to cross functional groups, including Online Ops, Product, and Engineering teams.
- Leverage data to provide insights about user behavior and to inform business decisions.
- Predict and understand user patterns through analytical and statistical metric analysis.
- Apply quantitative skills in predictive modeling, business intelligence analysis, A/B tests, regression models, and machine learning to gather data insights.
- Build and analyze dashboards, reports and key data sets to empower operations and exploratory analysis.
- Automate analyses and author data pipelines via ETL framework.
- Develop strong business partnerships with the Online Ops, Product, and Engineering teams by translating strategic questions into structured analyses, defining success metrics, and developing reporting channels.
- Build key statistical data sets to empower operational and exploratory analysis, and automate analyses.
- Track current incoming volumes and trends in order to create forecasting models for operational insights.
- Assist in designing hypothesis testing experiments, analyze data collected and present results.
- Conduct ad hoc data analysis based on current team needs.
- Complete root cause analysis of different workflows in order to quantify problems, operationalize goals and identify priorities.
- Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field, and 4 years of work experience in job offered or in a quantitative research field.
- Requires four years of experience in the following:
- 1. Performing quantitative research, such as data analytics, marketing analytics, market research, or user experience research
- 2. Leading data driven projects from definition through interpretation and execution
- 3. Managing multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
- 4. Processing and analyzing complex data sets, and interpreting them to make business decisions
- 5. Utilizing data and analytics to create actionable business strategies
- 6. Influencing cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives using quantitative research and data
- 7. Communicating and partnering with technical and non-technical teams
- 8. Knowledge of advertising/marketing industry.
