Senior Risk Analytics Engineer - Global E-Commerce Risk Control

The E-commerce Risk Control team is dedicated to protect TikTok Shop from fraudulent activities and user abuses, ensuring a trustworthy and user-friendly marketplace for buyers, sellers, and creators. As a global team, we are developing and managing foundational platforms including the risk decision engine, enforcement framework, and model & graph platforms. These systems are tackling some of the highest throughput challenges across Global E-commerce.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage TikTok Shop’s risk monitoring and indicator systems to detect anomalies and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with business, algorithm, and product teams to design and deliver technical solutions addressing complex business risk challenges.
- Conduct investigations into illicit and grey-market activities, producing high-quality risk intelligence reports and strategic insights.
- Analyze U.S. market data to identify macro trends, root causes of risks, and actionable improvements to minimize exposure.
- Apply advanced data analytics, statistical learning, and data mining techniques to strengthen team capabilities and drive cross-functional initiatives.

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $177688 - $341734 annually.
