Allied Universal is looking for Security Professionals for a Trucking site in Kearny, NJ

Full Time

 

Shift Available : Monday - Friday, Mornings

Pay Rate : $18 / Hour

Additional Qualifications : Access control experience. Badging experience. Comfortabe using tablet / computer.

As a Security Professional - Badge Specialist in Kearny, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure atmosphere for staff and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the location, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a culture that values agility, reliability, and innovation, working collaboratively with your team and always acting with integrity to support a positive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for personnel and assets.
• Document and report any unusual activities or incidents according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• New Jersey Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
