About the Role We are looking for a full-time Senior Customer Engagements Associate to join our team to support the team in project managing customer implementations both internally and in a customer-facing capacity. AKASA is based in South San Francisco. As a company, we embraced remote work before COVID-19. We consider ourselves experts in working collaboratively wherever our team members happen to reside.

About the Role We are looking for a full-time Senior Customer Engagements Associate to join our team to support the team in project managing customer implementations both internally and in a customer-facing capacity. What You'll Do
- Work with the customers, the customer engagements team, and, other internal departments to efficiently and effectively implement AKASA products
- Assume a leading role in the project management process, utilizing tools internally to ensure projects are completed on time
- Regularly report implementation progress to key internal and external stakeholders
- Develop an understanding of our customers’ needs and how our product solves for those needs. Over time, become fluent in customer history, business outcomes, and future goals
- Play a critical role in managing and supporting customer requests and helping turn repeat questions into product insights and learning resources
- Work cross functionally between internal departments to ensure all components of the implementation process are completed in a timely manner
- Become an expert in AKASA offering, positioning, and competition
- Aid in departmental infrastructure contributions
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years customer-facing experience in professional services, management consulting, technology implementation, or similar - must be in healthcare revenue cycle
- Understanding of healthcare revenue cycle workflows, KPIs, and process improvement drivers
- Strong in-person, phone, and written communication skills
- Adaptable, professional, and motivated with a strong work ethic
- Interest in making a big impact and grow your career in a high growth startup
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to work independently when needed
- High level of integrity, empathy, professionalism, and sense of urgency
- Interested in solving the most challenging issues facing the current healthcare industry
- Strong project/customer management discipline to proactively identify and resolve any risks, delays or issues
- Thrive in working collaboratively and cross-functionally, particularly with Revenue Cycle Operations, Solution Architecture, Engineering, and Product
- Tools/Applications Required: Microsoft Suite (PPT, Word, Excel, etc), Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs, Gmail, etc); overall ability to adapt to new tools as needed
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in implementation or installs with major EHR providers such as Epic and Cerner
- An understanding of the full revenue cycle patient journey in both inpatient and outpatient settings including scheduling, registration, coding, claims submission, adjudication, and appeals
- Experience with creating deliverables targeted towards an executive level audience and presenting those materials
- An ability to discuss revenue cycle automation opportunities and supply suggestions on workflows suitable for automation
- Experience with interpreting data contained in common healthcare file formats such as 837s, 835s, 276s, 277s, and more
- Effective at managing multiple projects, their tasks, and subsequent follow-ups
- Creates high quality project documentation for both internal and external stakeholders
- An understanding of the use cases of RPA, AI, and machine learning in the healthcare space
- Tools/Applications Preferred: Jira and Confluence
