JOIN OUR TEAM AS AN ADOLESCENT CHARGE REGISTERED NURSE (RN)!

$10,000 sign-on bonus + 100% company-paid medical up to family coverage OR Opt-out of medical insurance for additional compensation of up to $10,000 annually for FT employees.

Compensation ranges, including differentials (if applicable) by shift:  

Days to Evenings: $40.00-$52.00/hr

Weekend Days to Evenings: $44.00-$55.00/hr

The Adolescent Charge Registered Nurse (RN) is a consistent leadership presence on the unit on which they are assigned and must have a strong foundation of clinical knowledge and skills on which to base judgments and make decisions, organizing abilities to direct nursing tasks and operations, and interpersonal skills to facilitate communication and the work of others. Adolescent Charge Registered Nurse (RN) assumes ownership and accountability of their assigned unit.

  • Partners with the CNO or designee, Nurse Manager/Program Director and Milieu Coordinators to ensure that the operations and flow of the unit are coordinated and timely.
  • Facilitates coordination of patient care activities; e.g., collaborates with providers, social work, case management, fellow nurses and other disciplines.
  • Consistently attends and contributes to Treatment Team.
  • Identifies the priorities for patient care management.
  • Makes and posts appropriate assignments of patients to staff and all patient care related activities at the start of the shift.
  • Facilitates admissions and discharges in a timely manner and completes all associated paperwork. Addresses noted deficiencies.
  • Checks the completeness and accuracy of patient treatment plans routinely. Continually updates and revises plans as changes occur in the patient’s condition.
  • Ensures that restraint / seclusion paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Audits the patient’s medical record to determine that all orders have been carried out, laboratory tests are posted, delivered nursing care is documented, and patient progress or lack of progress is described.

  • Days or Evenings
  • Every other weekend

Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:

  • Education & Licensure (if applicable): Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
