About the role

Jasper is the leading AI marketing platform, enabling the world's most innovative companies to reimagine their end-to-end marketing workflows and drive higher ROI through increased brand consistency, efficiency, and personalization at scale.

Jasper has been recognized as "one of the Top 15 Most Innovative AI Companies of 2024" by Fast Company and is trusted by nearly 20% of the Fortune 500 – including Prudential, Ulta Beauty, and Wayfair. Founded in 2021, Jasper is a remote-first organization with team members across the US, France, and Australia.

About The Role

As a Staff Product Designer at Jasper, you will be a senior hands-on design practitioner shaping the experiences that define how marketers work with AI. This is a role for someone who obsesses over craft — the weight of a typeface, the rhythm of an interaction, the clarity of an information hierarchy — and who channels that obsession into shipping products that genuinely moves the needle for customers. You'll work across the full design surface, from early-stage concept exploration to polished, production-ready UI, operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-moving, AI-first product environment.

This fully remote role reports to the Head of Design and is open to candidates located anywhere in the continental US.

What you will do at Jasper

  • Own end-to-end design for complex product surfaces — from 0-to-1 concept work through to high-fidelity, production-ready UI — shipping experiences that make enterprise AI marketing intuitive and delightful

  • Set and raise the bar for visual and interaction design quality across the product, bringing exceptional craft to every pixel, motion, and micro-interaction

  • Partner deeply with Product Management and Engineering to shape product strategy, define user problems worth solving, and explore solution spaces through rapid prototyping and experimentation

  • Work within and contribute to Jasper's design system (Spark), creating scalable, reusable patterns that accelerate the team while maintaining design coherence

  • Use AI-native tools and vibe coding workflows (e.g. Cursor, Claude, v0) to prototype at high fidelity and velocity — bridging the gap between design intent and working code

  • Champion pragmatic, outcome-oriented design decisions — knowing when to push for polish and when to ship and learn

  • Contribute to design critiques, share thinking openly, and help elevate the craft and culture of the broader design team

What you will bring to Jasper

  • 6+ years of product design experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates exceptional visual design craft and strong end-to-end product thinking

  • Proven ability to take ambiguous, undefined problems (0-to-1) and shape them into clear, compelling product experiences

  • Outstanding UI and visual design skills — you have a refined eye for typography, colour, layout, spacing, and hierarchy, and your work shows it

  • A pragmatist's mindset: you balance design ideals with business reality, shipping velocity, and engineering constraints without sacrificing quality

  • Fluency with modern design tools (Figma) and a working knowledge of front-end code (HTML, CSS, React/JSX) — you can read, review, and riff in code when needed

  • Demonstrated experience using AI-powered and vibe coding tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude, Copilot, v0) as part of your design and prototyping workflow — this is non-negotiable at Jasper

  • Experience designing for AI-native or AI-augmented products, with an understanding of the unique UX challenges they present (non-deterministic outputs, prompt interfaces, copilot patterns, trust and transparency)

  • Strong communication skills — you can articulate design rationale clearly to cross-functional partners and are equally comfortable whiteboarding early concepts as presenting polished deliverables to leadership
